6 I like 1 I do not like
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Use of drone and UAV systems in every day life. Topics from disaster relief, bridge and infrastructure inspection to crop health evaluation and how it could help farms of all sizes.
I have always been an inventor and creator. My parents gave me Legos and Erector Sets as a kid which spurred my creativity. In college I took a huge interest in 3d Printing and UAV systems while getting through school. A large part of who I am today has to do with those years, I like seeing systems work in a more efficient and effective manner. I spend a lot of time making sure things work in the best, safest most effective manner possible. With UAV’s I feel they are a huge boon to the world, removing a lot of danger from existing jobs and adding new jobs. I want to see them in a large number of areas making the lives of your average person easier.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
