Best known in the US and abroad for her eclectic style blogging on, Imaan Ali is a PhD student and instructor of political science at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, researching topics at the intersection of civil conflict and Islamic law. An internationally minded scholar-activist who speaks on topics close to her heart, Imaan divides her time between Egypt, Norway, and the US.
