55 I like 2 I do not like
Overdose is now the leading cause of death of Americans under the age of 50. How do we close the gap between overdose and life? Harm reduction expert Raville explains how Supervised Consumption Sites are good for drug users, taxpayers, and community members. Lisa Raville is the Executive Director of the Harm Reduction Action Center, a public health agency that works with people who inject drugs. Her experiences as an overnight homeless shelter coordinator, a County Supervisor campaign manager, and an AmeriCorps volunteer at an HIV/AIDS agency cultivated her activism. She holds leadership positions on the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition and the Colorado Consortium on Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention. In 2014, Lisa won the Colorado Public Health Association Award for Excellence in Policy.
