This is an inspired version not exactly the same with Dunkin Donut Choco Munchkins but it's still taste really good. This video is in Tagalog, you can turn on the CC for English subtitle.

Don't over color the butternut toppings because it's too bitter when you put too much food coloring and also use whipping or heavy cream, which is so good in using this cream. If heavy/whipping cream is not available you can use nestle cream as substitute for whipping cream, it is still the same. Anyway, this recipe can make 56 balls. In the video, you'll see that I used donut to add another variety.
Before you make this, make sure to prepare all the ingredients in advance and also prepare two bowls and 4 or 5 plates. This will take a lot of time, you can let your kid/s join you in making this, believe me it's fun and they will like it.
This is composed of 3 recipes which are Chocolate Doughnuts (aka cake balls), Chocolate Glaze (chocolate coating) and butternut topping.
🍩 Dunkin Donut Style Choco Munchkins Ingredients:
( L I Q U I D )
3/4 cup APF (All-Purpose Flour)
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 tsp baking soda
( D R Y )
1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract/flavor
6 tbsp. heavy/whipping cream
1/4 cup milk (I used evaporated milk)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Chocolate Glaze Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
5-6 tbsp milk (if you don't want runny glaze, just put 2-3 tbsps. of milk)
1 drop blue or black food coloring ( O P T I O N A L )
Butternut toppings ingredients:
2 cups desiccated coconut (fine)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 drop orange food coloring (I used red since butter is already yellow)
